Top Ten Book Covers I Would Frame As Art
I love this theme. Like so, so much. Yay for art! The images I have selected are based purely on how pretty I think they are, not on if I have read them or even if I like them.
1. Pretty much any cover art for Vampire Knight by Matsuri Hino. The art is stunning, of course I want it on my wall.
2. Of course Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll. I did however find a cover that isn’t an official release for this too which I really wish was real. So I will show that too, its the one on the right.
3. I cannot seem to do a lit without including The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien. I can’t wait to get my hands on these books, any of the covers can go on the wall.
4. Im going to cheat and also put in this copy of The Hobbit. I love the red and gold colour contrast.
5. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. This cover and the standard Trans Atlantic Press cover, its pretty.
6. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavendar by Leslye Walton. Its so stunning, I know nothing of the book but I want it because its just so beautiful!
7. The Ring and the Crown by Melissa de la Cruz. Pretty pretty Again, want to read cause its so pretty.
8. The Kingdom of Little Wounds by Susann Cokal. I love the border.
9. The Moment Collector by Jodi Lynn Anderson. This book isn’t even out yet, but look at how nice it looks.
10. Fairytales For Wilde Girls by Allyse Near. Bunny!
11. I just can’t stop at 10, I have to do 11. Tragic Kingdom: The Art Of Camille Rose Carcia. So different and so pretty!
Share your lists! I want to see them! Pretty covers should be worth sharing.

I love these picks, I got approved to read The Moment Collector by Netgalley and couldn’t help but marvel at the cover art!

These are beautiful Jazmin, I love the Alice in Wonderland in particular…
Ooh I love the cover of The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavendar; it’s gorgeous. I haven’t read the book, but I have to! And I want to see the gold dragon on The Hobbit cover up close, it seems amazing. Great picks. :)
I know, I have seen it in store but I couldn’t find a great picture of it. Its so stunning.
Great choices!
Great picks! I love the version of the Hobbit, I never saw it before, it’s absolutely amazing!
I wish I could have found a better picture of it!
I almost added the Ring and the Crown on my list too – I love the colours and the font. :) Great list!
I had to stop myself from making an entire list of manga covers/art that could have easily made a top 100 list.
Cheers,
joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts
Beautiful covers Jazmin! I really like the Secret Garden cover!
Loved this list so much! Those Lord of the Rings covers are amazing. I need them!
Guh, I ADORE the Eva Lavender cover!! It’s so gorgeous. I love that you included all those classic covers, too! They’ve come out with some really awesome ones lately.
The Ring and the Crown by Melissa de la Cruz is gorgeous – and that’s perhaps the main reason it’s on my Amazon wish list ;)
Its why it made it onto my wish list XD
Love your picks, I did not even consider some of the newer redesigns of some classics I’ve read for my list, I just looked at my bookshelf and saw the covers I have. Alice in Wonderland and Lord of The Rings are some books I would definitely like framed, especially with the covers you have chosen, I just have the cheap old school covers, not as inspiring.
The old covers are still stunning, I would frame my old copies haha
I love your choices – it’s as though you’ve been round my bookshelves! I love your No.1 – what a beautiful and inspired choice. I was also going to put Alice – did you see the lovely clothbound cover in the Broke and Bookish choices – not seen that one before. I’m certainly not going to argue with anyone putting the LoTR or The Hobbit – I thought about it – but, I seem to use every opportunity to promote those two books so thought I’d have a week off :D

I love the B&N leather-bound classics. I totally want that version of Alice and Wonderland. I also want the Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender. I know nothing about it, but it looks so pretty.
That cover of The Hobbit is beautiful! The Alice in Wonderland covers would look amazing framed too. Thanks for stopping by.
I love The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows cover and the Ring and The Crown, so pretty! Great picks =)
The Ring & The Crown is so beautiful! And I love all the Tolkien covers too. Great list — they’re all so pretty to look at!
The LOTR books are stunning! I might consider buying them and finally read the series. :)
Gorgeous covers! I think number 6 is my favourite. I love that design. :)
Such great covers… I just love the whole Alice and Wonderland theme. I actually have some framed art from it. One of them is a poster of the entire book with some art on it. Really a cool thing!!

Ahhh, so pretty! I especially love that B&N edition of the Alice stories (it made my list too), Those editions of the LotR books along with The Hobbit are truly stunning!
Beautiful choices! I love the colours of the The Ring and The Crown cover.

The Ring and the Crown is the best! Would look really nice in a walk-in cupboard or a bedroom for that matter. Or a dressing room!
Wow, love the covers for ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘The Secret Garden’! Great list! :)
Dude, you have flawless taste in covers. I love Vampire Knight and that Alice In Wonderland cover is gorgeous.
I had to narrow down my choices from 11 to 5 for Tuesday. I WANT that edition of The Hobbit! The cover is fantastic!
I love your list! And you’ve got two B&N Leatherbound Classics on there, omg I’m so in love with those! I’ve got a few on my shelf as well :) But I especially love your pick of The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavendar, that’s gorgeous!
oh yes to Fairytales! I love the cover and can’t wait to read the book.
I’ve always loved the Vampire Knight art as well :). It stands out from all the other manga, and also, LOVE Zero! Nice picks!
