This is both such an easy list and such a time consuming one! I have read many long books, but the time it took to go through the books I have read the last few years consumed a bit of time haha. These are the ones I can remember to the best of my ability, in order from longest to ‘shortest.’

2. The Passage by Justin Cronin at 963 pages.

  1. Wow! You cracked 1000 pages. You must have strong arms. I never realized Outlander was that long. I started it, and DNFed, because the dialect was so tedious to read, but I did think the story was good.

  2. Omg there are some massive beasts here!! Well done you!! I find big books so intimidating haha, but there’s also a huge sense of accomplishment when they’re done?! I think my longest has to be A Dance With Dragons (woah does GRRM know how to write a book that goes on forever)😂

  3. Ooooh, I want to read Outlander! I’ve heard so many good things about it, but I mainly just want to watch the show, lol. Wow, though! You’ve read tons of long books!!! I’m reading Way of Kings right now which is pretty much the biggest book that I’ve ever read, so yeah… 😀

  4. Ooh nice ones! Haven’t read any of these but I always knew that Martin had super long books! Thanks for visiting my post today!

  5. A Game of Thrones made my list as well. I haven’t yet read The Passage, but I do want to. I’ve had it on my TBR list for years. Have a great week!

  6. Gabaldon’s books are huge. And I’ve always been curious about the Auel books- the whole prehistoric or Ice Age thing always seemed fascinating to me. Also, I forgot that Magician was quite large too.

  7. I don’t think I’ve ever even SEEN a 1000 page book, let alone read one! Long books are so scary to me, I applaud your braveness-ness!!!! You have conquered several!!!
I’ve been meaning to pick up The Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini, did you enjoy it??

    • I did, i have done the series twice now. There are some things with the writing style that took a bit of getting used to but once i did i enjoyed it. I have done a review on the series if you are interested.
