Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created over at Broke and the Bookish, but has now been taken over by That Artsy Reader Girl where every Tuesday, Top Ten things of anything are listed. Todays Top Ten things are:
Top Ten Five Characters I Liked In Books I Disliked
Oh my god I swear I struggle so hard at these lists. I see what the topic is and I scream internally because it sounds really hard to do. If I don’t like a book its normally because I don’t like the characters so I guess we will see…? This might be another five item list again.
1. Arriane from Fallen by Lauren Kate. Specially the third book. I bloody hated the third book.
2. Marcus from Half Wild by Sally Green. Apparently. I remember nothing about this series but in my review apparently I liked this person?
3. Lyra Belaqua from His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. The little I remember from the books I think I liked her, but again I am referring to my reviews to give me the answers.
4. Adrian from Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead. I love him in all books of course, but this was my least liked out of the two series so its on this list.
5. Viv from a Shade of Vampire series by Bella Forrest. Now I am not sure if she is in the first one, and again I don’t actually remember anything about the books, but the first time I mentioned her in a book review was to complain that she wasn’t really in that book and it made me sad. So she makes it on the list hahahaha.
And I am done now. Hopefully sometime soon I can think of ten things to go on a list!

I don’t remember much from Half Bad either… :-) This list was hard but I managed to get to 10 somehow!
I’m sorry this topic was so hard, but I feel your pain! I was pretty daunted by it when it came through on my TTT submission form, but I thought I should make the person happy who submitted it and went ahead and put it on the schedule. But it was SO HARD for me to come up with a list because the characters are what make or break a book for me! lol. I don’t usually dislike a book if I liked the characters. I’m proud of you for pushing yourself and getting 5. 🙂

Yeah, this weeks’ topic definitely wasn’t easy. I ended up needing to ask some of my co-bloggers to help me come up with ideas for it.
Oh, and Lyra was the highlight of His Dark Materials for sure. I adored her.

I didn’t like Fallen either! I couldn’t get past the first book, I thought it was so awful 😂
Oh Passion is the one I hated. I didnt mind the other books.
I haven’t read any of these books. This week topic was definitely hard. So I reversed it 😀

The big problem of a book blogger – trying to remember too much about books without rereading your own reviews, haha. The amount of times I have had to go onto Goodreads to see what I have read is actually painful.
I haven’t read any of these yet, well I read the first Fallen book. But I remember nothing about it.
Not many people liked the series thats for sure.
This was a hard topic! And I haven’t read any of Richelle Mead’s stuff but I do have Vampire Academy on my TBR (and even liked the movie- kinda- I know it’s not well regarded lol).
The book is basically a different thing all together.
Haha the struggle of remembering what we thought of old books! I relate. Thank God for reviews!
This was definitely a tough topic since usually if I dislike the characters, I’ll dislike the book to and the other way around 🙂

The topic this week was so hard that I ended up reversing it and doing characters I hate in books I love, lol.
I haven`t read Fallen, but I saw half an hour of the movie and it was so cringy.
I personally loved the Half Bad series, and yes Marcus was a pretty interesting character. ;)
I haven’t seen much of Marcus in the first book but you make me curious for his appearences in the next two. :D
